New Powerful 999cc Parallel Twin Engine
The Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R delivers class-leading power and smooth performance, thanks to its new, powerful 999cc, DOHC, eight-valve, parallel twin engine with an aggressive 8,500rpm redline and legendary Yamaha durability.
Three Drive Modes, One Machine
Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) optimises power delivery for a variety of situations through an all-new three-position D-Mode switch.
Sports Mode is ideal for wide open trails, sand, and fast driving.
Trail Mode is perfect for a fun, relaxed ride, taking on trails with smooth acceleration and linear throttle response.
For adventure seekers, Crawl Mode tackles slow technical situations with ease.

RMAX2 - Ready To Work Cargo Bed
The Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R features a tilting cargo bed to simplify hauling duties. Built with hydraulic assistance and a robust latch system, the bed transports up to 272kg with multiple steel tie-down points to secure cargo or attach accessories. Add in a full 907kg of towing capacity through a standard 2-inch receiver, and the Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R is ready to get to work when you are.
Advanced FOX 2.0 QS3 Suspension
The all-new advanced and heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide maximum articulation in low speed situations and a balanced feeling when trail riding. Wide-arc A-arms paired with high performance long travel FOX 2.0 QS3 shocks provide incredible bottoming resistance with smooth high speed damping. These units can be switched between three custom positions tool-free to enhance comfort during relaxed driving, increase damping for normal trail riding and maximise damping during sport driving.
Max Comfort for Driver and Passengers
Driver and passenger comfort features include a tilt steering wheel with 17 degrees of adjustment, and a new adjustable passenger handhold with a robust design that won't get clogged with mud or dirt. Furthering driver comfort, the new throttle and brake pedals have been optimised for comfort, while a new strategically-designed brake master cylinder cover helps keep the mud and water off the driver's feet.
All-New Heavy Duty Door Design
A new three piece, easy-to-open door design features a steel inner structure, a moulded out door skin and inner door panel. The robust inner door handles keep the mud out to operate smoothly in the harshest of conditions. The doors feature integrated snap out speaker panels for easier upgradeability, and soft touchpoints for an automotive feel and all-day comfort. To ease entering and exiting the vehicle, the front doors feature an enlarged opening, 63% wider than previous Wolverine models.
Premium Front Bumper
A new multi-piece front bumper gives the Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R a stylish new look. With two welded steel trailering tie-down points, factory-installed WARN VRX 4500lb winch, accessory brush guard, and accessory pod light-mounting brackets, you'll confidently be able to take on the toughest terrain.
Advanced LED Lights
New stealthy, advanced LED headlights with lo and hi beam provide wide coverage for confidence-inspiring nighttime driving. New LED marker lights showcase the XT-R's unique, sleek style while integrated LED taillight, brake light and reverse light keep you visible on the trail and enhance visibility when reversing.
